It’s easy to encourage others. Yes, all you have to do is just say the right and uplifting words… but what if we are the ones who need encouragement? Suddenly, we find ourselves on the other position…on the receiving end of encouragement process in the midst of distress.
I’d say, it is GOOD. It’s good that we experience distress; being on the other side; because despite of the distress God delivers. Surely God will be there in the midst of troubles where His sons and daughters are calling for help. As I reflect on God’s love, just as I am, more than very much willing and readily available to take care and be there for my daughter Nadja in times that she needs me, God also is fully automatic and fully in-charge in taking care of us in times of our needs. Because I am a father, I know how our Father in heaven cares for us far, far more than I am capable of caring. Because He is the source of all goodness.
Yes, it’s good to experience distress. For we can experience and witness the up-close work and power of God moving. It’s good. Isn’t it? It’s good because when God Himself took our infirmities and carried away our diseases, He meant it and He has already spoken the words in past tense. – Matthew 18:17. The question of whether God will heal or not is out of the picture… It’s good. Isn’t it? It’s good because we can personally experience God, and experience other believers ministering to us and encouraging us, and we can feel the love of Christ through other believers. It’s good. Isn’t it?
IT’S GOOD BECAUSE GOD IS GOOD! GOD DELIVERS IN THE MIDST OF DISTRESS!
Thanks PCC family for praying for Nadja. May God’s peace and blessing be with you all.
GOD WILL FULFILL HIS PURPOSE FOR US; HIS LOVE EDURES FOREVER… – Isaiah 138:8
